January 12, 2018: JONATHAN SCARPARI introduces his collection at Cardi Gallery’s – 38, Corso di Porta Nuova, Milan where minimal design spaces ideally contain his high-impact creations.

A plain, plastic itinerary where six tableaux vivants move in a dream-like dimension. Multiple creative suggestions of the past gathered into an essential, futuristic concept.

Laces and zippers modify jackets and pants that look like uniforms and work clothes. Shapes and colours are plain – shoes’ design is compact and structured as well. Details are codes to be deciphered – the motto “what science cannot give us we can get elsewhere” is handwritten in Braille on a special selection.

Accessories are one-off ampulla and phial shaped jewels in Murano glass, inspired by chemistry lab equipment: once more, creation is a constant search for essential, basic matter.
