FILIPPO DE LAURENTIIS SS26: “PENINSULA” BETWEEN ITALIAN IDENTITY AND SENSORY STORYTELLING
During Milan Fashion Week, Filippo De Laurentiis presented the Spring Summer 2026 collection, “Peninsula,” in the evocative setting of Residenza Vignale, a symbol of Milanese elegance and timeless architecture.
For the occasion, the historic villa was transformed into an immersive narrative space: a discreet stage where guests could move freely among the models, closely observe the garments, and witness the collection’s live shooting—stepping into the heart of the creative process.

In the garden, accompanied by a DJ set, guests were welcomed with fresh lemonade and received a Filippo De Laurentiis tote bag filled with fresh summer lemons—a symbolic and sensory gesture recalling the Mediterranean soul of the collection.
“Peninsula” unfolds as an exploration of Italian identity: vibrant, elegant, cultured, and luminous. A landscape to be experienced lightly, from coastlines to the Alps, capable of embracing influences and transforming them into authentic expression. An Hortus Conclusus defined by its uniqueness.

The collection pays tribute to this layered identity, celebrating freedom, culture, and lightness of spirit. From Goethe to Keats, from Grand Tour travelers to Mille Miglia drivers, Italy continues to inspire and shape global imaginaries and lifestyles.
At the core of the project, knitwear—the brand’s DNA—evolves into lightweight, layered outerwear defined by three-dimensional textures that sculpt color like light and shadow on a Baroque canvas. Layering becomes key: full yet lightweight volumes and soft structures interact with more relaxed pieces, creating an effortless elegance between Nordic rigor and Mediterranean grace.
The color palette recalls Italian landscapes, blending neutral tones with green, amber, light blue, and yellow. Each garment stands independently yet belongs to a harmonious ecosystem, like a walled garden where natural beauty is guided, never forced.
“Peninsula” tells the story of an Italy that continuously reinvents itself, wearing its history like a bespoke garment.
